Whenever possible you can save money by visiting a Tier 1 Prime Healthcare Provider.  Please choose the appropriate Provider Directory for your benefit plan, to identify a Tier 1 Prime Healthcare Provider for your service area. You may click here at https://www.primehealthcare.com/EHP to access the most current listing and learn how to invite providers to be part of the Prime Healthcare Network.

Prime Authorizing System (PAS)

The Prime Authorization System (PAS) is a web-based application designed to improve patient care, provider experience and the authorization process. This user-friendly online system allows providers and office staff to connect directly with the Prime Utilization Review team making the authorization process easier, faster and more efficient while also going paperless.

A provider and office staff can:

  • Verify member eligibility and coverage details
  • Tier-1 provider details are available
  • Track the status of a request
  • Submit additional information
  • Print authorizations
  • CMS Dictionaries loaded for locating Codes
  • For the current year benefits you may download the list of services that does not require prior authorization when rendered at or by a Tier 1 contracted provider at https://www.primehealthcare.com/EHP.
